Raion meets Majin "The Panda" Jinkaku

Raion had woken up early in the morning. The birds were chirping just outside his window, the sun was just barely peeking out over the Hokage stone faces, enveloping the whole village in a beautiful light and most people were still asleep, except for the occasional Jounin and ANBU patrolling the rooftops and streets of the village. It was the perfect time of day for Raion as he liked this kind of peace to go to one of Konoha training grounds and start meditating .

He ate some breakfast, and then geared up to meet his possible Jounin Sensei, Majin Jinkaku, hmmm, this should be interesting.

As he made his way to the training grounds to meet him -his attire for today consisted of a black shirt, his amulet that was giving a soft blue hue in the sunlight, black shinobi pants and a black coat that was billowing at the fresh wind that passed him- the people of Konoha were giving him a wide berth, maybe it as for the glare and frown that was on his face, or maybe it was for his strange emerald slitted eyes, either way he didn't let it bother him and continued walking to Konoha's training grounds.

As he neared the training grounds, he looked around, the training ground was covered by many trees, perfect for practicing stealth or chakra control, under his feet the lush grass was waving to and fro by the wind, and some ways away was a big lake, perfect for just a swim, practicing some Suiton jutsu, or to also practice chakra control.

After admiring the training ground, he started to do some warm ups, first he sat down by the lush grass, took a deep breath, and started to meditate and let his body relax and to sort out his memories and emotions, meditation was really important to really relax and not let your emotions get in the way, after meditating for half an hour, he stood up and did some hand-to-hand practice for nearly an hour, after that he sat by the shade of a big tree and just admired the view the training ground provided, and waited for his new Sensei to show up.

If only he had woke up later, as the sun crept up over the horizon Majin Jinkaku was still quite sleepy from the all nighter he had spent before whilst studying up on natural reactions. The basement of his house in Konoha worked as a make shift laboratory for now and it was already getting overfull from the many nights The Panda had studied in zealous fever.

However today was the day he would meet his new genin trainee, how fun to meet yet another person. Majin felt like closing his shades and retreating back down the stairs with his experiments. He could not however in good faith just leave his responsibilities to the village behind him and focus only on himself.

The training grounds would be were he would meet the young man, Raion by name. Not much else was known to Majin besides the name and rank of the ninja he was assigned to teach. Well it should be fun, picking up a bell he would slip it into his green pants before donning his flack jacket, forgoing the face paint and tying his black headband around his neck so the leaf symbol and metal protected the front of it. After that he sequestered a few scrolls into his pockets and opened his black iron door stepping into the sunlight.

With a hop, a skip, and a jump the blue haired jounin made his way over to the training grounds the first lesson already in his mind. The tired, but old and true bell test would be the first one. It was always an enjoyable one Majin thought back to his past as a genin for this one. He was never given a bell test, nor a sensei. Still that was before the plague even so who could blame that. Life just happens the way it does, and one cannot swim back through the streams of time no matter how hard they try.

Finally reaching the training grounds, his feet not making a sound as they lightly touched the ground and propelled him along he came up to a large tree on the opposite side of Raion. He could see a bit of the genin from behind the brown bark of the tree's trunk and clearing his throat Majin stepped into view of the genin.

"Raion I would guess? If so, then are you ready for training?" Majin would ask with a slight smile on his face, his voice course but altogether not as menacing as it was most of the time.

"Raion I would guess? If so, then are you ready for training?" Raion looked up as a man stepped in front of him, he looked at the man with his default expression-a frown and a glare-and wondered if this was his soon to be Jounin sensei, he had heard some things about Majin Jinkaku, but not much to know his personality or how he acted around people, he stood up from the shade of the tree, shook some imaginary dust off his clothes, he looked at the Jounin in the eyes, wondering how would he react at seeing his eyes were slitted like a cat or a lion, would he flinch? Turn his head away? Or just nod and say nothing? Either way he say to the man in a nonchalant and monotone voice that showed no emotion at the moment. "Greetings Majin-sensei, my names is Raion Akuma and yes, I am ready, what kind of training are we going to do today?" Here he leaned by the tree behind him and crossed his arms, waiting for his Sensei's answer.

As the genin stood up he would gaze upon Majin's golden orbs. 'Brilliant, I have not been in a staring contest for quite some time' The panda thought to himself as he matched the intensity of the stare given to him. He could already tell that the genin was going to be a grumpy guss, but that was easy enough to fix if one had time and patience. Even still it was not the worst type of student, and respect could easily be gained from one such as this.

The boy then crossed his arms and spoke, obviously trying to keep his voice low. Majin continued to hold the stare without blinking, however his left eye began to do loops and swerved randomly and sporadically as if the trick could break Raion's attention. As such that eyebrow let up and the left half of Majin's face was set in a smirk, the right half however kept a lowered eyebrow and a harsh look of seriousness as the jounin replied "First test will be simple yes, Bell trick, you take bell from me, you win lesson" Majin's voice switched to that of an elder ice lander who refused to use simply things such as possessive speech patterns. As the jounin spoke he withdrew the bell he had brought earlier and strung it to his belt loop, on the front side and two loops to the right. Luckily Majin was not wearing a belt today, and he would wait for his new student's reply before moving from the five feet between them.

Raion continued to stare at Majin's golden orbs without blinking, however he have to smile in amusement and raise an eyebrow when Majin's left eye began to do loops and swerved randomly and sporadically, then that eyebrow let up and the left half of Majin's face was set in a smirk, the right half however kept a lowered eyebrow and a harsh look of seriousness as the jounin replied "First test will be simple yes, Bell trick, you take bell from me, you win lesson" Majin's voice switched to that of an elder or that of Yoda from Stars Wars if he remembered correctly. As Majin spoke he withdrew the bell from one of the pockets in his pants and strung it to his belt loop, on the front side and two loops to the right.

Raion smiled lightly in amusement and showed some emotions in his face and uncrossed his arms as he replied in a voice that showed more emotions and not nonchalance, his somewhat monotone voice stayed though, but now it gained an curious edge to it. "The Bell Test huh? Alright than, this'll be interesting, on your mark, Sensei" Raion waited for his sensei to make space between them and to give him the signal to go, he relaxed his muscle and prepared himself for this, his Sensei was a Jounin, and this test will not be an easy one.

With Raion enticed by the task set before him, Majin could now begin the test. Setting his face into a calm expression he kept his arms out spread as far as they could go. He would move after his genin did, of course he probably should tell the young man as well.

"We start the moment you move" Majin said calmly keeping perfectly still, but tensing his thigh muscles in order to move quickly once he saw the first sign of movement.

Raion set his face into his default expression, and thought about how to do this? He could go just for a front attack, but that will just end bad, or he could use jutsus to distract his Sensei and possibly touch the bell?

Hmmmm. What to do? Maybe...?

Having already a plan to maybe get the bell, he got himself ready and started to run at his Sensei at his maximum speed while he started gathering wind chakra in his legs, going for ones of his Wind jutsu, the wind chakra began to take the form of Wolf paws in his feet, this jutsu gave more of a boost in his speed, so maybe, him running with more speed than before will momentarily confuse or shock the Jounin long enough for him to either touch and maybe, just maybe, grab the bell, but that was just wishful thinking for his part, when he got close to the Jounin he sidestepped him and tried to grab the bell by his belt loop, if he didn't grab the bell and missed then he will try to kick his opponent in his torso or gut with his wind chakra covered legs, using one of his other winds jutsu to hurt his sensei by producing multiple shallows cuts were the attack connected and try once more to grab the bell with one of his hands.

jutsu:

First step, first seal. Noticing the wolf like paws that seemed to stem from wind chakra, one of his own types of chakra that he had over three thousand years to get used to mind you, Majin formed the next seal before the second step, and at the third step his body was already wind. That is to say that every clothing article, and items attached to The Panda was now made entirely out of air, unsubstantial. Of course when this happened it was at exactly the same time Raion shifted to his right, Majin's left and attempted to grasp the now nigh invisible bell. Of course that failed so next he would spin around and use his right leg for a kick to the torso of Majin Jinkaku.

Needless to say the leg passed through where Majins body would be however the chakra was sucked into the body and the jutsu used now began to feed the body of air that Majin was. Bouncing back five meters, Majin would switch the jutsu off and smile before flicking the bell that was now tangible and attached to his belt.

Raion eyes widened when he tried to grasp the bell, only to grab at thin air, then he tried to kick Majin at the chest with his right leg, only for that to be completely useless and a wasted of chakra, his Sensei then jump back five meters and made himself tangible again.

His right eyebrow twitched in annoyance when Majin smiled and flicking that bell to taunt him or something.

He took a deep breath and suppressed the annoyance in his face, and wondered, how the hell was he going touch or even grab the bell when his Sensei suddenly decided to be 'one with the air' again?

Sigh...sometimes he really wished he had gone for Katon jutsus instead of Futon jutsus, well, beggars can't be choosers.

He concentrated on keeping the Wolf Jutsu activated and tried another frontal assault again, only this time he tried to keep his sensei occupied by kicking him in the legs and the chest when he got close, if his Sensei blocked the attack with his arms or legs then he will try to grab the bell with one of his hands, if his Sensei decided to use 'be one with the air' jutsu again he will fall back and wait until he got tangible again, and then he will continue to attack his sensei with more kicks until a opportunity showed up to try to touch or grab that bell

Jutsu used:

The five meters in distance gave him some breathing and thinking room, so when Raion decided to jump up in the air and kick him in a leg and the chest flying horizontally through the air, his left hand dropped and would attempt to grab the person flying towards him by the right ankle, with his other hand he would grab the left ankle and using the momentum Majin would spin on his left heel and release Raion flying in the same path he had chose to jump at in the first place.

Next he scooted to the left by a meter and grabbed a low hanging tree branch with both arms and jumping/pulling himself past that branch and higher into the tree. The Panda landed a couple branches above in a crouched position about eight feet off the ground with a smile on his face.

”Fuck you, brain!”, Senbou through as he made his way to the training fields. Of all the possible days, his grey mass chose today to have the Genin oversleep. He was supposed to meet his Jounin Sensei and new teammate today. No doubt his new teacher had some kind of test in mind to determine whether or not his new students were worthy of being taught by him, and Senbou had an awful gut feeling him being late would already win him some negative points. And he absolutely didn’t want to get sent back to the academy!

As the urban surrounding slowly made way for a more natural area, Senbou realized he was almost there. Rushing past a young couple on some romantic walk mumbling some half-assed apology, earning him a confused look, the little Genin took a sharp turn to the training field where he should’ve been by now. The bright side of it all was that running to the training fields rather than strolling proved to be an excellent way to warm the body up. Any normal human would probably arrive at the training field all panting and sweaty, but as a young shinobi Senbou had a vastly improved amount of stamina and had mastered the art of maintaining top speed while still reserving plenty of energy. Considering shinobi often traveled across entire countries just by foot, it was necessary.

By now, Senbou could already see the training field through lines of trees. Two males were sparring; the taller and older one obviously being the sensei. His face was painted, for reasons Senbou would question later. The other was a guy around Senbou’s age with black hair, who had just attempted to kick the Jounin only to find out the man’s body was somehow intangible. The man than licked what seemed to be a little bell which, obviously, the Genin had to obtain. The Genin then launched another few kicks and ended up being thrown back by the Jounin, who then pulled himself into the canopies of the trees. Too bad! When the Jounin had his hands occupied with Taijutsu, it would’ve been a perfect opportunity for Senbou to launch a surprise attack at the man’s back.

Now, instead Senbou just rushed into the field and came to an almost screeching halt next to Raion, kicking up some sand in the process. ”Reinforcements have arrived! Sorry for the wait!”, he cheerfully told Raion before focusing his gaze on the guy in the treetops. ”Greetings, Sensei, and forgive me for being late. I hope you don’t mind me barging in on this spar. Someone’s gotta help this guy get that little bell of yours after all, right?”

Raion's eyes widened once more when his legs were caught in a vice like grip and then was throw to the side like he was a bloody ragdoll, he maneuvered his body to not crash at the unforgiving ground and silently landed on his two feet, and just as some sand was being kicked in his direction as a young boy with short green skidded to a halt close to him after apparently running at top speed to get to him, for a moment he looked at the boy as he said happily to Raion”Reinforcements have arrived! Sorry for the wait!” Then he say something to Majin about forgiveness and lateness, he smiled, thankful that he now have some help with dealing with this Training, until he noticed something -and he kicked himself mentally for not realizing it sooner!- the genin has six arms, the genin has six bloody arms, that was probably the coolest thing he had seen in his entire life! But he shook away those though and concentrated and said to his teammate in a thankful monotone voice. "Thanks for coming to my rescue, my sensei is a handful, kicking my around like some ragdoll, so your help is really appreciated" Raion then focused on the highest branch his sensei was now currently perched in, then he said to his new teammate. "The name's Raion Akuma, your new teammate, any ideas to grab that bell of his...?" He then focused more wind chakra in his legs, keeping Wind Jutsu: Wolf activate and hoped that his new Teammate had a plan to deal with this sneaky jounin.
