Description: Having been born blind from birth, Mokushi was taught at a very early age how he could use chakra to fuel his sense of hearing, given his father's familiarity with Sound Release. Using the same principle, Mokushi applied it to touch, taste and smell in order to further compensate for his lack of sight. Now at a near super-human level, these remaining sense allow Mokushi to virtually "see" in all directions simultaneously, at least within a range of about fifty yards or so. His senses are precise enough that he can pick up infrasound, a level of frequency undetectable by the human ear, as well as sense minute disturbances in air vibrations, not to mention pick out smells with the accuracy of a canine. Combining several or even all of these senses, allows Mokushi to lay out a sensory network, combining relevant information to be able to mentally visualize the battle field. Even if nothing around him releases information, Mokushi can then make noise himself, using echolocation to identify his surroundings. Furthermore, because these extra-sensing capabilities are fueled by chakra, and are at-will, he can close off these senses too, should the need for it arise in the case of over-exposure or unwanted exposure. Finally, given his practice with the technique, this chakra is so minimal on his system, that Mokushi can actually recuperate chakra at a quicker rate than he expends it on his senses.

Gakushi Shinobi

Effect: Allows a shinobi who plays an instrument, to form chakra using notes, rather than hand seals.
Handseals: n/a
Drawback: The user must know how to play an instrument, and be doing so to use the technique.
Description: A technique invented by Mokushi, rather than use hand seals to better control chakra formation, he uses his flute, each note representing a different hand seal. In this way, while playing a tune through the flute, Mokushi can perform several jutsu in quick succession all within a single song.
Limit: Sound Release. Must be taught by Mokushi.

Fukuwajutsu (Ventriloquism)

Effect: The user throws a sound that they're creating, causing it to seem like it's coming from somewhere else.
Handseals: Boar
Drawback: Consumes one D rank's worth of chakra per post being used, until ended.
Description: Forming the boar hand sign, any sound created by the user following the use of this technique will come from a nearby location (thirty meters) of the user's choice. This makes it nearly impossible to track the user through use of sound.
Limit: Sound Release

Furattohitofushi no Jutsu (Art of the Flat Note)

Effect: By playing a flat note, the user activates a Substitution Jutsu, avoiding an attack.
Handseals:
Drawback: If used mid-song, the song will most likely be incorrect. Costs significantly more chakra than regular substitution.
Description: By playing a flat note when struck, the user activates a substitution jutsu, replacing their body with the sound waves released, and escaping to safety.
Limit: Sound Release.

Copy Clone Technique (Gikei Bunshin no Jutsu)

Effect: Creates a simple clone that, when struck, is destroyed only to reveal two clones in it's place.
Handseals: Tiger, Dragon
Drawback: The clones cannot attack or cause any physical impaction upon their surroundings. A Kai Release will cause their dispersal.
Description: By using notes instead of hand seals, Mokushi will play a short song on his flute, causing anyone who hears it to fall under genjutsu, in this case, causing a clone to appear before them. This clone cannot be destroyed through conventional means, nor can it affect the environment. However, when struck, rather than disperse, the clone will multiply, leaving two copies of the user in it's place. This can carry on indefinitely.
Limit: Sound Release.

Art of the Broken Tongue (Togire Shita no Jutsu)

Effect: Creates an illusion so that any attempt at communication becomes gibberish.
Handseals: Bird.
Drawback: Does not distinguish between friend and foe, targets everyone who hears the song.
Description: By using notes instead of hand seals, Mokushi will play a short song on his flute, causing anyone who hears it to fall under genjutsu. In this case, the genjutsu affects the mind's of the targets in such a way that they become incapable of communication, whether it be spoken, written or otherwise. Any attempt at communication will become utter gibberish.
Limit: Sound Release.

Ijin Komoriuta (The Devil's Lullaby)

Effect: Causes a single target to fall into a deep sleep.
Drawback: Quite easy for the victim to realize they're being affected by Genjutsu and use Kai to release. User must play the lullaby until the victim is fully asleep.

Description: By playing a specific song on his flute, Mokushi casts a genjutsu upon a single target. While hearing the song, the target begins to feel very faint and extremely exhausted. Their will for combat or anything besides falling into a gentle sleep dissipates, and eventually (two posts) they do just that. Extremely easy to recognize as a genjutsu, this technique is only ever really effective when the victim can't use a kai release, be it they don't know how, or are too preoccupied to perform it, or recognize the symptoms they're experiencing.

Effect: Causes internal bleeding to a target when struck.
Handseals: Dog, Tiger
Drawback: The durability of the exterior surface can severely impede the effectiveness of this technique. If the target is wearing armor, or doesn't have relatively soft innards, the jutsu is practically useless.
Description: By using notes in place of hand seals, Mokushi will typically use this technique mid song. While playing the song, Mokushi will use chakra to compress sound waves headed in the direction of his target, creating a basketball size orb of vibration. If it strikes the target, this orb will release it's vibrations from within, bursting blood vessels and causing severe internal damage, yet next to nothing on the surface. This technique moves extremely quickly, and is invisible to the naked eye, it's only tell tale sign being a subtle "boom" just before it is released.

Moufu Koukyoku no Jutsu (Concealing Symphony Technique)

Effect: Renders the user invisible.
Handseals: Dragon, Rat, Boar
Drawback: Only hides the user from sight, does not hide signs of their impressions on their surroundings.
Description: By using notes instead of hand seals, Mokushi will play a short song on his flute, causing anyone who hears it to fall under genjutsu. In this case, the illusion removes Mokushi from sight, turning him completely invisible. Often mistaken for ninjutsu, the technique is very rarely countered with a kai release.
