A former Yuuen Tatsujin (Grand Master) of his clan, (Denkiteki Aoi Ken) the characteristics of his bloodline damaged by the plague around him, His pale skin now graying ever so slightly, his pitch black hair now a twisted midnight blue, and his turquoise eyes, now dark sapphires.

Though his characteristics warped, his appearance in general hadn’t changed, despite the famine and disease known to ravage the black sands Arphee kept his bear like appearance, keeping meat on his bones, and plenty of muscle underneath it, His long straight hair always unkempt and sticking out in several places, His perfectly trimmed chin-strap beard still razor sharp, his thin eyebrows straight and mellow, and his eyelashes thick like a woman’s.


Clothing:
Even before the decimation of his clan Arphee had abandoned their customs swapping out the tight fit Blue and White scale armor for black and green loose fitting robes and shirts. It wasn’t until the start of the plague that he outfitted himself with proper clothing.

Now wearing dark black loose fit cloth kimono pants, with a matching cloth sash and belt holding his 42” High Carbon katana on the left side, and his 3 Specially designed Kunai of the right, A lighter black torn cloth GI both with several secret pockets and pouches on the inside to conceal Scrolls, Weapons, and various other accessories. A black with dark green trim Kevlar half vest with high carbon plating on the inside, with a matching glove and arm guard set. (Kevlar material is 5x stronger than steel in weight comparison, it has no melting point (But disintegrates at 13k+ Fahrenheit), and doesn’t conduct electricity at all) a light green cloth scarf (For good luck), and a flashy grey cloth cape.

Additional Outfits:
It is not uncommon for Arphee to bring miscellaneous gear into battle, often dressing for occasions and planning ahead, in his outfits many pockets lay multiple scrolls all filled with various odds and ends, outfits and other gear. Arphee is well known to use these scrolls before performing his Gaidoku Gappe technique. Occasionally Arphee will wear a black and grey hat mocking the style of the “Kage” hats, with the character “Kuroi” (Black) painted in the center.

Personality:

Growing up Arphee had always been looked at as somewhat of an oddball, Though he had quick wits, was the best of his classes, and was the youngest person to ever achieve the rank of grandmaster, Though somewhat sullen at most times from fighting his own eccentric nature, always thinking before he talks and stop himself from engaging is his usual ticks like pulling on his beard, eyeing women, and impatiently tapping his feet/fingers.

It’s because of this constant charade that people are often caught off guard by his mood swings- as soon as he starts loosing focus the crazy starts leaking from his mouth, hitting on women, making sarcastic remarks, pitching seemingly insane ideas, the complete opposite of what most people think of him.

Despite his passive aggressive inner nature, loud mouth, and offensive thoughts, Arphee dislikes arguments and fighting, and almost always keeps his cool, However like all people, he has his rough spots, certain things just push his buttons- he’s known to have a strong sense of justice, and is quite over protective of his friends, betrayal plunges him into a berserk rage.

He has a soft spot for kunoichi, taking them lightly, and avoiding fighting them at all costs, when attacked by females he has a tendency to attack less and attempt to use Bind-type jutsu, unless fearful for his own life, even in worst case scenarios, he will always avoid hitting kunoichi’s vitals.

Arphee has a tendency toy with ninja who use water-type attacks, no one quite knows why, it is said once he took on the full blast of a Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu unscathed, then continued to heckle the combatant saying “Mommy can I have more milk” clearly showing his antipathy.

Clan History:

The clans’ history pre-dates the third great shinobi war. Though the clans’ origin is a bit fuzzy they are descendants of a now extinct Hidden mist clan destroyed during the water countries bloodline massacre, it is said that days before the attack on the former clans mountain stronghold several ninja escorted the clans women and children to safety in the land of whirlpools, the survivors lived in secrecy dropping their titles and abilities until the destruction of the whirlpool country, the few, now old shinobi took up arms to protect their new home.

The youngest of the remaining was tasked with escorting civilians to the nearby fire country whom the whirlpool had deep ties with, the whirlpool country fell and many of the clans former members scattered across the continent few remaining in the fire country, the last remaining shinobi was said to have traveled to the earth country to seek refuge with his wife at the start of the third great war.

It is said that this man, the last bloodline user of the former clan was the one who spread the bloodlines genealogy however it is unknown if any of the other children or women had the kekkei genkai, or partial genes to give birth to users.

He settled down into a backwater-mountain town in the eastern outskirts. Many years after his death one of his three children Mizaku descended the mountain aspiring to become a ninja. The other two, Mizaku’s brother Roka and his sister Sumi both married and had several children. Mizaku never married, but also had quite a few children. After several years he returned to his home village to see how his family had been doing, he didn’t stay long, but in his stay he confided in his brother about his abilities, and even showed him how to turn water into ice. Mizaku returned to the hidden and was slain months after in a B rank mission.

It is said that Roka began practicing and using his bloodline ability in the years after, its said that he had someone buy him a book about chakra and jutsu during one of the village traders trip to the land below which enabled him to further use his abilities.

Roka taught himself, his sister, and their children how to use and manipulate the ice, and how to even do some water techniques, in time many of the villagers began to watch them use these techniques and even attempted to learn them too, however, no matter how hard they managed, they were unable to do it.. Like their father before them they taught their children and their children’s children, each generation perfecting their abilities more and more.

It wasn’t until Naiya Cloud’s research and experimentation paid off that the now broad network of Ice users began using Jutsu. As the first person to teach and perform actual Jutsu she developed 12 Sword based jutsu, and deemed herself, and the others able to use ice “Denkiteki Aoi-Ken’s” Legendary Blue Blades, and began teaching many of the early clansman the abilities. Though unconfirmed there had always been rumors of her making a pact with Snow leopards she had done genealogical research on, because of her eccentric nature, constant babbling, and odd actions that this was shrugged off.

Naiya was the first to discover the details of the bloodlines inner workings, people of her likeness had an unusual chakra than when cast from the body could freeze even air, though many outsiders assumed it to be simple element manipulation, It was much more.
By using the special properties of their chakra the legendary Blue blades were able to create Snow and ice out of the moisture in air, the and the water composition of their own bodies, their enemies, animals, and even plants.

After extracting water and turning it to ice or snow by binding their chakra with it they were able to manipulate it, this in conjunction with conventional hand seals made shape transformation much easier while drastically lessening the amount of chakra needed to perform jutsu, because of this chakra binding the users chakra stayed within the snow until it melts, and in cases where large amounts of chakra were used after melting, because of this Blue blades were known to re use ice and snow drastically cutting down chakra usage, as well as to absorb their chakra out of the snow they had created.

It is said when Naiya attempted to ask the Yondaime Tsuchikage for the annexation of her clan, she barged into his office, and nearly killed his entire personal guard during the misunderstanding, despite the death of his guard he, dumbfounded by the sheer skill and odd abilities he had seen, accepted, he even agreed to give minimal aid to the small village, as well as bend the guidelines for many things in their favor, this is assumed to be because of Naiya’s womanly charm.

Naiya lived a short life, dyeing at the age of 27 attempting to perfect a new jutsu, freezing herself into solid ice. It was because of this she was deemed the Touketsu Kami (Frozen God). Her workshop was cleared out and turned into a shrine, for people to remember her likeness and deeds.

Despite her young death she accomplished a great many deeds developing nearly forty jutsu herself, Identifying and detailing the effects of her bloodline, Partially Allying the Hidden Rock, Hollowing out Mt. Kyuuijoi, Creating the Great Ice Elevator to the base of the mountain.

Because of her feats her two children were treated with respect until they were older, many of the clans’ inhabitants were baffled by her children’s inability to use Ice jutsu. Despite going on to become decent water ninja, the Cloud name fell from notice.

The partnership with the Hidden Rock paid off allowing the village to learn a great deal more jutsu, and adopt several of the systems other clans had used, over time they had developed a pseudo academy, adopted countless jutsu from other countries, and became a major player in the rock countries commerce.

The clans ranking system differed from the hidden rocks standard Student-Kage system; however those who allied themselves as official rock ninja were cast from their clan rank and adopted their ranks.

The Denkiteki Aoi Ken clans system was as follows: Tane, (Seed) Toukan, (Frost) Tenka (Snow) Koori (Ice) Yobigoe, (Hale) Hiyayaka Ikko, (Cold One) Tatsujin, (Master) Yuuen Tatsujin (Grand Master) and Touketsu Kami (Frozen God) (Will go into more detail in actual clan template)

The title of “Frozen god” was only ever attained by two people Naiya Cloud, for her various endeavors, and Mizorea Osore, who single handedly repelled an invading fire country army using her lives work “Arbitrary Tundra”

All clan members are taught a few techniques during training and upon graduation of the academy. The Jutsu tough to all students and graduates are as follows:

Other jutsu were taught depending on the students classes, Mt Kyuuijoi’s academy had several specialization classes, Kenjutsu, Advanced Kenjutsu, Water Style Ninjutsu, Wind Style Ninjutsu, Ice Style Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Advance Taijutsu, Poison Arts and Strategy were just a few.

The clans Yuuen Tatsujin form main government of the town, each of the 12 grandmasters are tasked with one central governmental duty, each grandmaster had a large scale of people working under them, it was unusual for Masters to work under grandmasters however due to their constant missions.
Up until the Fifth great shinobi war the clan had maintained minimal contact with the hidden rock, however when war came many of the village’s ninja took up arms in fear of being targeted anyway. Despite the combined force of Mt. Kyuuijoi and the Hidden Rock, the earth country fell.

In the aftermath Mt. Kyuuijoi was seen as a distant extension of the hidden rock. The mountain was finally targeted and attacked by a large army of shinobi from the fire country. Despite their large size the army was decimated by the second frozen god Mizorea Osore’s final attack, in which she used every last bit of her chakra and life force performing her ultimate jutsu, “The Arbitrary Tundra” Upon the defeat of the army the Yuuen Tatsujin dispatched a team to declare Neutrality with the other villages, and to denounce their tie with the Earth country, becoming its own entity

Ability Summary:

The Legendary Blue Blades bloodline is unique in several characteristics, Their ice manipulation seemingly isn’t a combination elements, instead it is caused by their unusual chakra, Blue blades chakra if not controlled properly when in use can freeze the user into a solid Diamond hard blue ice.

Despite this, clan members who were not born with Water and Wind based chakra usually didn’t posses this odd chakra, and further more, in some families the genes skipped several generations.

A great majority of the clans ice techniques were developed by former clan scholars to harness the bloodlines abilities maximum potential.

By using their odd chakra and infusing Air, Water, Snow, and any other water containing objects, the user can manipulate them using their chakra. Unlike conventional jutsu where the chakra is used as a medium to move, shape, and change the form / element, the clans chakra literally Binds with water giving them complete control.

By implementing conventional jutsu technique to the mix a nearly limitless amount of options became available, eventually these possibilities were drawn upon and many scholars began attempting to discover ways to further take advantage of their chakras unique properties.

Through this research several things were discovered, the infused chakra could be leached back out of snow and ice by putting more chakra near it acting as a magnet, literally sucking it in, when made unstable the chakra would freeze into an odd substance unidentifiable by conventional science, and that when Absorbed, sealed, or directly touched by someone lacking the genetic requirements to control it, it would begin freezing it into that substance.

History/Background Story:

A former member of the aspiring Earth country Denkiteki Aoi Ken clan, Arphee was the youngest member to ever reach the rank of Yuuen Tatsujin, a head government and a powerful ninja, he was the first of the Cloud surname to have the Bloodline limit since his great grandmother Naiya, the first Touketsu Kami, despite being the descendant of one of the clans greatest ninja, he was never highly regarded until his later years in the academy.

In his time at the academy he had always had perfect grades, took extra classes, and often would go out of his way to out-do everyone around him, he graduated at the age of 7 after only two years of school, attaining the clan rank of Tenka.

After this he began his own ruthless training regiments based on many of the writings, scrolls, and scribbles of his great grand mother that had been In storage learning her various jutsu, and perfecting many of her unfinished works. It wasn’t long before he skipped up two ranks to Yobigoe for knowledge of jutsu and fighting prowess.

After mastering 34 of his grandmother’s techniques, and discovering the secrets behind Mizorea Osore’s arbitrary tundra he began developing his own jutsu’s. By the time he attained the rank of Yuuen Tatsujin he had perfected nearly 100 of his own Jutsu, as well as learnt countless other jutsu.

Arphee had replaced the eldest council member, who unfortunately died a gruesome death inflicted by the sorrow weavers, along with a considerable amount of the village, corpses piled as high as houses all buried across the mountains base and summer, a great majority of the village lost, almost instantly.

Arphee maintained normal life even after the death of more than half the clan, performing his duties admirably and still working on creating new jutsu in his spare time, much of his time off went into trying to find his great grandmothers summoning contract with her genetically altered Snow Leopard pack, but to no avail, he never did.

It was during a routine trade pick up, the usual shipments of Carbon, Scroll paper, various poisons, food rations, clothing material, and various other assortments when the village finally met its doom. Three of Mt. Kyuuijoi’s usual juvenile delinquents took advantage of Arphee’s schedule, and the now extremely shorthanded village stealing several of his Jutsu information scrolls. The three traveled to the mountain summit to attempt to perform the greatest jutsu known to the clan the “Arbitrary tundra”.

The three Koori performed the jutsu, nowhere near as powerful as it could have been, but the mountain wasn’t strong enough to hold, ravaged by the diseased bodies buried within its soils, and the lack of structural support due to the Great Ice Elevator caused the inevitable collapse and destruction of Mt. Kyuuijoi within minutes the entire mountain had fallen into itself, the force creating a crater in the weak ground below as it collapsed, the entire village and its inhabitants crushed in seconds.

Arphee witnessed this colossal event nearly ten miles from the mountain, and was even blown away by the extremely large gust of wind and tremendous shock force generated by the collapse. He awake to the battered corpse of the trader he had been dealing with, crushed by his own goods, seemingly un-phased by it Arphee immediately rushed to the former base of the mountain hoping to see survivors, people rebuilding the mountain, medical ninja healing the injured, but there was none.

No screaming or aching sounds, no rustling or movement, no broken limbs anywhere, the tip of the mountain broke off slamming into the nearby Mt.Ashinari while the rest of the mountain crumbled and collapsed in on itself, the mountain had hit the ground so hard that the plague weakened ground shuddered and created a crater, a quarter of Mt.Ashinari broke off, and fell on top of the newly formed crater only making the problem worse, and surely killing any possible survivors.

Arphee spoke no words, he slammed his eyes as tight as he could and grabbed his face with his left hand in a desperate attempt to calm himself, His entire village Gone, the only trader willing to venture into the now desolate earth country now dead, life as he knew it was over, and he was the sole surviving member of his clan.

Knowing this Arphee wandered for three years further developing his techniques and eating whatever scrapes he could find, previously infected corpses, human and animal alike, rotten and withered vegetation, what ever it took to get by, his attempts to sow his seed so far ineffective, being nearly no women left In the earth country, by the second year he had ventured into the sand country which now lay cut in half, a large portion black and seemingly lifeless.

Despite his goals and aspirations to restore the clan, something about this dark area lured him in, he felt a oneness with its natural feel, a deep connection to the land itself, and he began scouring these black sands, until one day he finally found a caravan of merchants building on these black sands he now inhabited.

Arphee approached them to find out they were going to create a village in an attempt to rein habit the land. Arphee admiring their goal, and growing an even deeper bond with this Black land.

Houses, a Shamble of a hospital, rusted recycled jail cells literally torn from their former buildings deep in the black sands territory. Several Hundred Wells and water systems Dug by the merchants, and filled by Arphee, the water extracted from the land corrupted landscape as black and harmless as the ground itself. Over time many shinobi and merchants came to inhabit the now deemed “Black Sand Country” feeling the same calling as Arphee, and the same unexplained deep connection.

As the numerous shinobi were drawn to this new country and its only city, it gained many allies, and because of these powerful shinobi, this city gained the name Kurogakure, and Arphee the first ninja in the village, a co founder, and one of the most active builders during construction he was named the Shodai Kuraikage.

Roleplay Sample:

Blocking the missing-nins kunai with his right hand Arphee placed his left backhand to the blocking hand with enough pressure to knock someone back performing the Dog seal “Ice Style: Kage Bunshin”, “Pwoof” He created two Ice clones, One directly behind the use and one further behind the other clone.

The clone behind the missing-nin quickly drew his sword doing an incredibly fast draw-slash, meanwhile the second clone threw 8 Kunai, 4 with his left hand, four with his right, aimed directly at the possible dodging areas then began performing rapidly performing hand seals “Ice Release: Flash freeze Prison” he prepared his next attack.

as far as i know, advanced poison techniques like that would require medical ninjutsu to create

To create poison like that you would only really need to know how. But just know that you are very limited on it, and you don't control the spread of the poison. So only the area or attack coated in the poison will have the poisonous properties. You should add how many viles of poison you have to each jutsu.

As for the problems i see...

The extremely large chakra pools. Don't go overboard thinking you have limitless chakra, or so much that you can pretty much go on in a battle forever.

For being the strategist, don't metagame with that.

More like Apothecary skills, in my RP history section and clan history its clearly noted that this was one of the many skill sets taught at the clans academy, it was often used as an extra precaution against Fire users, in addition my character developed elemental medical jutsu during his research, Its all in there.

See above post, to the note of creating it. as to how many containers of poison are used per. Jutsu, unless its an extremely large jutsu there should only be one, often the number will be included in RP posts, because making several different skills for the same things with higher numbers seems a bit redundant to me.

Chakra: I’m no Naruto, Sage moding, Junchuriki, Talking to my mommy and daddy, type of guy >.> I’m more like a Kisame, it makes you go “HO SHI” but it doesn’t make you go “Wait a second that’s against the RULES isn’t it?”

Strategy: I don’t see how I could really metagame with this trait…if anything by me citing the potential dodge areas that I attack, anyone who battles me is more likely to metagame.

For instance in real life since we cant do outstanding types of jumps, if someone were being attacked from the front and behind they would have to move either directly left or right, or any of the 4 adjacent’s available to them leaving a total of 6 possible places to go.

Now If I were my character and I threw a handful of shuriken at the left quadrant, and originally that person was planning on going left, unlike real life they can easily look at where that attack was placed and go the opposite direction, meanwhile in the real world they’d be getting a face full of metal

The best example I can use for how this would play out is to say look at any of the fights Shikamaru was in, in the naruto series.

Arbitrary Tundra: This is meant to be a be-all-ends-all technique capable of destroying a large village with great ease, of course its either going to kill him or leave him Derping on the floor.

Frozen Body Armor: Fixed, and removed the “In conjunction with” status between it and reactive armor.
